Methodist Women in Longview at Greggton Global Methodist Church provides a small group experience for everyone to spend quality time renewing friendships and making plans for outreach projects that spread the love of Jesus throughout our community.
We meet the third Monday of each month at 10 a.m. for the morning group and 5:30 for the evening group.
The morning group meets at Community Connections while the evening group eats out at various community restaurants, offering flexibility for busy schedules and diverse life stages. Women's Wesleyan discipleship thrives here, blending fellowship, service, and spiritual growth in equal measure.

How Does Methodist Women Ministry Work in Longview?
Each monthly gathering begins with warm conversation and prayer, followed by updates on ongoing outreach projects and discussion of upcoming service opportunities. Methodist Women joined forces with Wellness Pointe and other organizations to provide an Easter Egg Hunt and hours of fun for community children, organizing booths where younger participants painted crosses and eggs while older kids assembled symbols of Easter.
The Methodist Women group also hosted Valentine luncheons for the employees who work for Community Connections nonprofits and for the women of Greggton Methodist, complete with salad, entertainment, door prizes, balloons, chocolate, and roses that brought smiles to everyone's faces. Greggton Global Methodist Church believes that encouragement from others keeps faith alive and that serving others deepens trust, so every event is designed to bless both participants and those we serve.
